I played Need For Speed Heat... A LOT!. It is really great and addictive. Having a BMW M5, Ford GT and F-150 Raptor, Aston Martin DB5 (for some reason) and DB11 and many others (except Toyotas, even in BMW form as the Supra) is super enjoyable.

Which is faster, the BMW M5 or the Ford Mustang GT? Which has better performance as well?

The BMW M5 is much faster than the Ford Mustang GT. M5 can do 0–100km/hr in just 3.2 secs while Mustang takes more than 4 secs. Talking about performance, both the cars are powered by a V8 engine. Powering the M5 is a 4.4-litre twin turbo V8 producing 600Hp and a peak torque of 750Nm mated to a 8-speed torque converter gearbox. Power is channeled to all 4-wheels via BMW’s 4-wheel drive system which can be set to only rear wheel drive mode. It comes with launch control also. While the Mustang is powered by a 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 producing 400bHp and 515Nm of peak torque which is channeled to rear wheels via a 6-speed AT. Mustang comes with a unique feature of line-lock which helps it in better and aggressive launches and for burnouts also.

Which held the respect and prestige, the Mustang GT or the BMW M5?

Held? in what? I mean prestige goes to the BMW for SURE. The Mustang has always been a fun and fast but ultimately affordable Muscle car until recently, now the GT isn’t affordable. But the M5 is FAST with ~600HP and luxury to boot. The 2014 BMW 550i isn’t even the M series and is STILL faster than the same year’s Mustang GT and Camaro SS. But even if you compare it to something obviously faster like the Dodge Demon, Dodge Hellcat, Shelby Mustang GT500, or Camaro ZL1, BMW still holds the prestige.

Is 1000 horsepower too much for a street car?

Yes. A few hypercars come from the factory with over 1,000 horsepower, but that’s way too much to enjoy on the street. If it’s a modified car, you’d need a beefy transmission capable of handling such power without turning into scrap metal. Such a transmission would be clunky and rough on shifts, making it unbearable to drive anywhere with stoplights. If it’s a hypercar, then you’d better be prepared to shell out something around a million dollars. Or more. Once you own such a car, you’re probably never going to take it out on the road, since every mile on the odometer would decrease the car’s value. Furthermore, any scratch probably costs a normal person’s month’s rent to repair. Living in LA, I’ve been to some crazy car shows and the guy with the $100,000 Nissan GT-R seemed to be having more fun than the guy with the far costlier Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta. On a practical level, when driving such a car, pressing the throttle anything more than a slight touch will cause the tires to break traction, so it’s not like that much power will make you accelerate quicker. To utilize 1,000 horsepower, you need track-specific, road-illegal tires. Even if you were using such tires on the street, if you got close to making use of the 1,000 horsepower, odds are you’d be traveling at jail-speeds. Personally, I think a person can have a lot more fun with a car that has far less power and does not cost as much as a house. Even cars in the $100,000 range, such as the Mercedes E63AMG and the BMW M5 are too fast to have fun with on the streets. You can save your money and have a great time in a car like a Mazda Miata.

What are the main differences between luxury models of BMW and Mercedes?

There used to be a huge difference, back when quality of the car mattered more than the sales. BMW and Mercedes were two different worlds made up of different innovations and completely different styles. Now, the sales matter most and the cars are made to be shiny and pretty in the dealership lots, and break down faster than you can pay them off. Now, there isn't really as much of a difference. You can be driven in a BMW 7 series and a Mercedes S-class. You can drive an AMG GT and a BMW M4. There isn't “one to drive” and “one to be driven in”. The companies care more about the image the car produces, trying to keep up with demands. Keeping that as the main goal, you can’t really make 2 cars that are that different. The only difference that I can say is the way the cars and features are carried out. Mercedes being more round and curvy, while BMW takes a more angular and sharp approach to its vehicles. None other than the man himself ,“Bestu Bestu Legend Saravana(Saravanan).”, He is an owner of chain of retail stores in TN known as Saravana Stores. By seeing his car collection, you will understand why he is a Legend! As you see this Maybach, in the LHS you could see his store(Saravana Stores) & the guy in both the banners is none other than him! His collection is known as ,“3666 garage”, because all his cars bear this same Reg. number or ,“White garage”, cause at first all of his cars was white now it’s colorful! Starting with Rolls Royce Phantom This Phantom Series 7 was added to the garage last year. Lamborghini Urus This is a new addition just bought previous year! This V8-powered Italian SUV comes with full body-colored panels. It is the first Urus in the Country to get this option. Bentley Flying Spur This too is a new addition which is a New-gen flying spur with this the Legend has all the models in Bentley lineup! The garage also has/ had a first-gen Flying Spur finished in white. Not sure if its still a part of the garage! Bentley Continental GT This second gen Continental GT was added in 2019. Rolls Royce Wraith The Wraith was one of the first cars to come with a GPS guided automatic transmission. Note the red center caps on the wheels. Aston Martin DB11 The DB11 is more of a GT car than a supercar. It comes powered by a 5.2L twin-turbo V12 engine or a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 that was developed by Mercedes AMG. The DB11 V8 became the first Aston Martin to get an AMG engine. Lamborghini Huracan The baby Lamborghini is extremely popular in India and is one of the best-selling supercars in the world. This is the LP 610-4 variant, which was the first Huracan launched. Ferrari 488 GTB The only Ferrari in the garage is the 488, powered by its turbocharged V8 engine. The car is finished in Rosso Corsa Metallizzato, which has metallic flakes in the paint, Rarest shade in the Country! Bentley Mulsanne Speed The Mulsanne Speed is a faster, performance-oriented variant of the Mulsanne, which is named after a famous straight on the Le Mans circuit. Even though it is a faster variant, it's still just as enjoyable from the back seat. Rolls Royce Ghost This is a first generation of the Ghost which came with a 6.6L V12 engine. Porsche 911 Turbo S This is the 991.2 911 Turbo S. It is kitted out with black alloys and yellow brake calipers. BMW M5 This is the F90 M5. The perfect car for an enthusiast with a family. It offers the performance of a sports car with the added practicality of more seats and decent boot space. Mercedes E63 AMG Alongside the M5, the garage also houses a W213 E63 AMG, which is said to be daily driven. One of the few cars in the garage that does not have a '3666' number plate. Mercedes S63 AMG This W222 S-Class is the AMG variant and comes with a twin-turbo V8 engine. The garage also had a W221 S-Class, which was a S500. Maybach 650 This is the top-of-the-line Maybach variant. The S650 was launched with the Maybach S-Class facelift and gets a V12 engine. While the S560 variant is assembled in India, the S650 variant is fully imported as a CBU. Bentley Bentayga Speed This is the first Bentayga Speed to be delivered in India. It is finished in Fire Orange with Magnolia. It comes equipped with the expensive Titanium Sport exhaust designed by the same team that developed it for the GT3-R. Range Rover Sport SVR Sport SVR(1/4 in Chennai). The SVR comes with a 5.0L V8 engine. Porsche Cayenne Turbo Another V8 powered SUV in the garage. The Cayenne was the first sporty SUV launched and is one of the most popular Porsche models in India. Porsche Panamera GTS One of a very few Panamera GTS models in the country. This one, powered by a V8 engine, is finished in a shade called Carmine Red. Porsche Panamera Turbo Another Panamera in the garage. This one is the Turbo variant. BMW X6 M This is a fast variant of the second generation coupe-SUV. It gets a 4.4L V8 petrol engine. Volvo XC90 T8 The only electrified vehicle in the garage. The T8 variant of the XC90 is plug-in hybrid powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that is turbocharged + supercharged and is paired with an electric motor to produce a peak output of 401 BHP and 640 Nm. Fastest car? A Porsche 911 GT2 RS. If you can get it, price starts at $300,000. time is 2:37.8 2nd fastest car? ZR1 Corvette, priced at $140,000. It comes in at 2:39.5. The top 10 cars are all super cars (costing close to or over half a million dollars) except slots 2 and 10, which are both owned by Chevy. the Corvette specifically. Funny isn’t it, to see MacLaren, Lamborghini, Ferrari along side “Chevrolet.” The Z06, which can be had for 80,000 dollars is spot 10 with a time of 2:44.6. Spot 19? The Grand Sport Corvette. Spot 43? The lowly Stingray. The low-end Stingray outperformed a Ferrari 430, Porsche Cayman GT4, BMW M5, GT-R (2009), R8, etc. So the corvette absolutely has pedigree at a fraction of the price of other cars. It is clearly in the same league performance wise. But drive around in a Z06 and hit on women. Drive around in a Ferrari and hit on women. Yeah, NOT the same league. The Corvette is a car lovers car. The Porsche, Ferrari, it might be, but those are often cars for status seekers and bullshitters.

What kind of person drives a Bentley?

I had one for a couple of years. I bought this Continental GT for £25k What kind of person am I? - Someone who enjoys driving very powerful cars but has a limited budget (I’ve also owned a Jaguar XKR and a BMW M5). I loved these cars when I was younger and never thought I’d own one. It was very definitely a ‘you only live once’ purchase. Kept it two years as my daily driver and then back to a more normal SUV that actually makes sense going to the supermarket.

Which supercars will you want to own someday?

Oh, you had to ask. Alright, here goes. This is my dream garage. For my daily drivers, I would have these: Jaguar F-Type., I love the sound of that V8. Mercedes AMG GTR. ,I actually hated the AMG GT when it came out because it replaced the AMG SLS which I loved. But after a while I really took to it and after sitting in one, I added it to my dream car list. Audi RS7. ,Almost perfect sleeper. BMW M5 (F90). ,Because I’m a Bimmer fanboy through and through. Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder. ,For those sunny days when a closed roof will just not do. Next, we have the track-day stars. Nissan GT-R (R35) NISMO. ,When you have one GTR for your daily runs, you have to have another GT-R for those weekend track excursions. Ferrari 812 Superfast. ,My favorite model from Ferrari’s current lineup. Sadly, probably one of the last naturally-aspirated V12’s. Porsche 911 GT3 RS. ,I’ll leave the GT2 RS for lunatics bigger than me. Lastly, honorable mentions of cars which are no longer in production but will always have a slot in my garage. Ferrari 458 Italia. ,I’d have this over the 488 GTB any day. Lexus LFA. ,A car that was generations ahead of its time. Sadly, not many people even know of its existence. Mercedes AMG SLS. ,How could anyone not love those gullwing doors? Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34). ,Technically not a supercar, but no less than one. I’d keep it stock, no performance mods. Just to preserve that sweet note from the motor. Well, maybe a larger exhaust to amplify it. I’ve kept away from special editions and one-off hypercars as those would not be possible to drive as often. Those would end up becoming garage queens and would be more of an investment rather than machines I could enjoy, Thanks for the A2A. Happy motoring!
