Which is the best car, Bolero or Ertiga?
Both are of different types and by types what I mean is that one is a SUV while the other is an MPV. So, picking one depends on how your requirement is. Mahindra Bolero : ,Appeals more as its a bigger vehicle and has the offroad capabilty in it. Its good when you have a family of 5-members because the ride quality is bumpy and bouncy at speeds. Buy this if your home is on hilly, muddy or rocky terrains because its USP is that it can handle rough stuff with ease. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga : ,Though its now a petrol, it can seat 7-people with adults at 1st and 2nd rows with children at 3rd row. Why I’m saying this is because the seats arrangement is better here compared to Bolero and also the ride quality though is stiff, it can handle things well on highways. Best and all depends totally on your requirement than the vehicle because here, people carrier Ertiga is best for families under budget while Bolero suits well for families who stay at hilly or rocky areas with tough or bad road conditions. So, pick one based on your requirements.

In 7 Seater, If you are looking more over mileage than go for ,Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. It is a 7 seater and good light weight vehicle for city driving and will land under 15 L. Or you can go with ,Mahindra TUV300 PLUS, . It may looks ugly but falls under your budget. It will start from 11.82 Lakhs. You can go to ,Mahindra Marazzo. Its a nice premium package, Marazzo gives you many option to choose. Starts from 12.29 Lakhs. In 5 Seater you will have more choice. Hyundai Creta Best selling car and proven now. Its a over all good package. It will start from 11.91 Lakhs. Ford EcoSport Again its a proven on road and a good package with wide range of option available. Will start from 9.15 Lakhs surely lands under your budget. Nissan Kicks. Its a over refresh car on road. Technically a good car, only drawback is its very new in market. It will start from 11.28 Lakhs. Nissan Terrano Its a proper SUV with offroading capability. Have 4X4 option available. Will start from 11.9 Lakhs There are few more so called SUV’S but they are very less considered. Thankyou.

If we talk about current scenario of Car market in India, the market is evolving quite rapidly... All the automobile leaders are looking to grab the oppurtunity to dominate the segment.... We have long list of Compact SUV(Pseudo) and proper SUV. The Indian brands such as Tata, Mahindra have the pride of having some of the best SUVs in country.... But the competition is not that easy. The closest rivals are the Ford, Hyundai, Renault, Nissan etc. If you are talking of the price bracket, that is under 12 lakhs... Ecosport, Duster, Terrano, Creta, Innova, Ertiga and YRA are some of the compact SUVs in this bracket... If we talk about the proper SUV we have Scorpio, XUV500, Xylo, Safari... The major difference between the Compact SUV and SUV are ride quality, handling and durability. Compact SUV have the advantage of better fuel efficiency, soft suspension, NVH, Compact in nature while the Proper SUV have better gripping on road, having powerful engine with far more power and torque, durable body... The kerb weight of SUV is more than Compact SUV.... Same goes with the space. Now coming to the point of selection, the first thing is that you have to make decision of several things which includes your daily drive in and around, th road conditions of the area, how much is highway running, maintenance cost, for how long you are going to keep the car etc. Now, If we look at pros and cons one by one: Compact SUV Ecosport- Excellent driveability, fine interior quality, variable engine options while the car is best suited for four average built adults and one kid, the ford service is still not that good Duster- Great handling, highly durable under belly while lack of space and very poorly built interior is a big issue Terrano- Good looks, good road presnece but Nissan service lags Creta- Sporty exterior, brilliant interior and 1.6L engine option while the price is too much Innova- One of the best in the class, proven engine, good space, excellent service but is not an offroader with very low ground clearance Ertiga- Maruti Suzuki engine under the hood, painless service, availability of spare parts while the build quality, interior quality is not up to the mark YRA- a new entrant in the segment with 200Nm and 320Nm of torque, maruti fuzzless ownership while the price of 1.6L DDIS is priced too higher Proper SUV Scorpio- Brilliant chassis, strong body, powerful engine but the body roll is high, front seats are cramped and NVH is quite high XUV500- Leader in looks, the cheetah is quick with the new and improved looks, the SUV looks more energised but the maintenance is high. Also, the W4 model which is somehow near 12 lakhs is not a zeal in terms of features Xylo- Good handling and braking, can go anywhere feel, interior is uniquely designed but at the sametime the tyre are not in sync with the SUV, the look is not that attractive Safari- The identity of SUV is well defined by Safari, with Tata's peace of mind while the cost of maintenance is high same goes with the low mileage....
