Well, you need to be specific. This is like asking what is the difference between Toyota and Ford cars? Yes, Toyota Yaris is certainly very different from Ford F150, just like the Toyota Yaris is obviously not a Toyota Tundra. Bombardier is a Canadian company, known for making snowmobiles and rolling stocks (trains and trams). When Avro Canada went bankrupt due to Avro Arrow failed venture, they were split into multiple successor companies, from Canadair, Orenda engines to Hawker Siddeley Canada. Eventually, they were nationalised and then absorbed to Bombardier group to become Bombardier Aerospace. Meanwhile, another British Canadian manufacturer, de Havilland Canada, were also bought by Bombardier, making them the sole premier Canadian aircraft maker. Its current productline reflected their history too: Bombardier CRJ “flying pencil” and its business jets are derived from the Canadair jets, and the Dash 8Q400 is from de Havilland Canada’s famous Dash series turboprop airplanes. They also made several militarised jets like the CRJ-derived Sentinel airborne early warning & control piggyback radar-carrying plane. Embraer meanwhile, is a privatised Brazillian government venture, restored by businessman and engineer Mauricio Botelho to become the world’s top 4 aircraft maker. They make assorted kinds of planes, from the anti-insurgency Super Tucano, the AMX light trainer/attack jets, regional prop planes like the Bandeirante, Xingu, and finally the world famous Embraer Regional Jets (ERJs) and E-Jets. Embraer also make a lot of militarised planes from the beginning, such as the R-99, which is Sentinel’s rival in the AEW & C plane too. So yeah, these are how they compete with each other: Bombardier CS series (no rival) Embraer E-jets (170, 175, 190, and 195) vs. CRJ-700 series (700, 702, 900 and 1000) Embraer ERJ (135, 140, 145) vs. CRJ-200 series Bombardier Dash-8Q400 (no rival) Private / business jets: Bombardier Challenger series vs. Embraer Phenom & Legacy series (CRJ vs ERJ all over again) Bombardier Global series vs. Embraer Lineage (big CRJs vs. E-jets) How to spot the difference? See these spotting guides: Bombardier CRJ Regional Jet, Spotting Tips, CRJ Series, Models, Features, and Photographs Embraer Airliner Spotting Guide, ERJ Regional Jets, E-Jets, E2 Series, How to Tell Embraer Airplanes Apart, Tips for Embraer Spotters, Design, and Photographs
Toyota showcased its C-segment offering, the Yaris sedan, at the ,Auto Expo 2018,. Expected that the Yaris is offered with a 1.5 L VVT petrol engine. Rumoured that 1.4L Diesel engine may not make it to India due to emission norms. Toyota is planning to launch diesel engine with BS-6 emissions norms directly. The engine is followed by a 6 speed manual or 7 speed CVT automatic. Coming to features, Toyota Yaris packs all the premium features required for a c- segment sedan. It packs 7 airbags with tyre pressure monitoring system, dual tone dash, leather wrapped steering , centrally mounted 7 inch touch screen, front and rear parking sensors, vehicle stability control and hill-start assist, ABS (anti-lock brakes) with EBD (electronic brakeforce distribution) and brake assist, four disc brakes and ISOFIX child seat anchors, adjustable three-neck restraints for the rear seat,a roof-mounted rear AC with ambient lighting cabin, a powered driver’s seat, and a reversing camera. Have a glance at the Yaris cabin. Some missing features! Yaris lacks some premium feels with the absence of android auto/apple car play. We all expect a panaromic sunroof from a Japanese jaint , launching a c-segment car. But Toyota failed to offer sunroof, while it's rivals like Honda City offer it. Though we all may not like the front beak like Yaris face( I don't like it. I mentioned it hoping some more people will join with me) , it offers a great value to your money, standing out in it's Toyota' reliability and service. Well! Test drive every c segment car you like and buy one you like for yourself.
My experience was driving on Toyota Yaris, model 2008, very similar like on the picture with speedometer and tachometer in the center. First impression is that it’s look weird because the speedometer is important for driver not for front passenger, but point is, how tall are you or how you look on dash board, the steering wheel may be in the position that you will not see the speed or rpm and you need move with your head lower or higher (it’s happened to me in car with speedometer in front of driver) then in car where is tachometer in center I realized that is more convenient for me and of course the car manufactures save cost for LHD and RHD cars like others said.
My ex boyfriend claims I stole the apartment, car and his clothes from him. He claims his right to the apartment that I moved into before him and added his name onto, the car he barely paid anything for, and things of his I don’t have. I’ll start by explaining the plainest of facts about him. I figured out halfway through the relationship that he lies about small details that have little significance. He doesn’t tell big lies, rather inconsequential details. For example, say he bought an Xbox One in store from Walmart for $200. He would say he ordered it online for $250 from Amazon. It’s a detail that doesn’t matter, yet purposely incorrect and exaggerated on cost. He did this with nearly everything. First off, the apartment. I moved in first, at 18 with my parents as co-signers. They are still co-signers on the lease. I bought all the furniture or moved it from my old room at my parents house, from the microwave to the bed. He only owned the google home, his clothing, and shared necessities. We agreed upon breakup he would move out, considering I am the primary leaser and he was on the lease as a co-resident. He claims that it’s his apartment too, and I should have moved out and let him stay. The car really grinds my gears. I signed a lease on a brand spanking new Toyota Yaris. Drove off the lot with 17 miles on it. He is on it as a co-signer, since my parents couldn’t co-sign as they were in the middle of selling their house and moving into a condo. He is not on the title, nor insurance, he does not even have a license. I worked at a drivers ed, I offered to give him practice permit and road tests. Even offered to pay for him to take both and get his license. He never took me up on any of it. He paid, in total, about $700 on that car. Led me to believe it was paid up when it wasn’t, and it got repossessed. I paid over $2000 to get it back. Took major damage to my credit. I’ve paid probably more than $7000 on the car to date. Not including gas and insurance. Not to mention he left me with $3000 in parking tickets, since the car is registered in my name. Thanks to the judge for understanding and knocking off as many as he could for me. He claims that we would have never gotten it if it weren’t for his credit. He had no credit, like I did. Having a co-signer only got me a lower monthly payment. He claims it’s his car too, and I should let him have it because he “needs it more.” His stuff? I texted him every other day for 3 weeks asking when he was going to come get it. He moved in with his friend DOWN THE STREET from me. Less than 3 blocks. Anytime he wanted it, he could come get it. He repeatedly told me he’d come get it, and finally did. I helped him move into his friends, and gave him my nicest laundry baskets to keep for his clothes. I kept the broken ones instead, that cut my side when I carry them. I cleaned out every nook and cranny when he moved out, there is not a single thing of his here. Even things that looked worthless, I packed up for him since he couldn’t be bothered to pack his own stuff when he moved out. If anything was missing, I would find it here before he’d find it there. On top of all of this, he claimed I was neglecting my cat. I guess $1000+ of vet bills I paid for and took her to is neglect. He never took care of the apartment, the car, his or my things. He did love my cat, I’ll give him that. But he seriously destroyed all my things and shared spaces. I asked him to stop smoking cigarettes in the car, he left burns on the seat, ceiling and ashes all over the dash. I let him drive it to work down the street once, he scraped the entire front right side on a brick wall. He never helped around the house. One time, I washed only dishes I used and not his. After 2 weeks of mold and no more dishes left for me to use, I was fed up from asking and did them all. The kicker? He expected me to take my name off both of them, all while he works a minimum wage job and has no financial help whatsoever. Even if I did, he’d be evicted within 2 months and the car would be repossessed at the same time. I continue to hear from mutual friends about his claims to “his property.” I don’t care to explain it to most people, they can believe his bullshit if they want to. His entitlement to things he didn’t pay for or take care of is astounding. EDIT: To add, his ,mother ,commented this on my instagram today. EDIT #2: I’ve just learned that he took advantage of someone else as well. He lived there for 2 months, underpaid the guy rent money while continuously promising to pay. He didn’t pay any of the energy bill after agreeing to pay half, and only $350 for a room + bathroom. Dude kicked him out, and is refusing to give him his stuff until he pays him for his part of the energy bill and the rent he still owes him. He wasn’t on the lease, and is threatening him with the same things he threatened me; small claims court and calling the police to get his stuff. The cycle continues. I’ve warned a couple of mutual friends about what happened with him and I as well as this person, so I can only hope they listen. Oh, and his ,mom ,went to pick up his things for him. EDIT #3: I was kind enough to invite him to come say goodbye to my cat the day before she passed. Since he lived with her for nearly 2 years I figured I would let him say goodbye to her. All my friends were over saying goodbye as well. He told my friends boyfriend that they had sex that night, causing them to almost break up. He also stole my google home and listed it on facebook marketplace. I couldn’t be more thankful to be out of that relationship seeing how he treats people, especially with what was happening.
Here’s an idea: fix the problem. The problem isn’t the little light on your dash, the problem is that your car’s safety systems aren’t working properly. The safety belt sensor is often linked with your airbag sensor, so the whole system needs to be functioning properly. I’d start by making sure all of the wires are connected properly. There is probably a plug under the seat. If you’re having contact problems, you might try contact grease. After that, I’d look into replacing the sensor itself.
Chances are it goes something like this: Hold down trip reset button on dash Turn ignition to on but not start while holding button Continue to hold until light turns off The exact procedure is likely in the oil change section of your owners manual. To anyone else who answers with take it to a certified technician: Most techs, especially younger ones, are going to pull out the owners manual/open identifix and follow the procedure. There's no magic to it.
In India, Toyota Motor Corporation first arrived in October 1997 through a joint venture with the Kirloskar Group, setting up shop by the name of Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited. With its headquarters located in Bangalore, Karnataka, Toyota India is responsible for handling manufacture and sales of ,Toyota cars in India,, and it presently ranks amongst the top 6 car-manufacturers in the country together with Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra and Chevrolet. Starting with the widely popular MPV Qualis in 1999, the Japanese auto-clan of Toyota has introduced some truly spectacular models in the Indian car-market over the past decade and a half, creating itself a formidable fleet of cars that is not easy to rival even for those domestic manufacturers that have had a much longer lifespan in the country to establish their hold over the market. Although the Qualis was discontinued in 2005, newer and more alluring models like the Innova, the Etios twins, the Fortuner and the Camry were brought in for local production, joined from time to time by their dashing siblings from overseas like the Prado and the Land Cruiser, arriving in India as imported models. Currently, the fleet of Toyota cars in India features Toyota Etios Liva, Toyota Etios Cross, Toyota Platinum Etios, Toyota Glanza and Toyota Yaris bringing the total to 12.
Well they Toyota have backed themselves into a corner, and a big dash of arrogance, they believe in the hybrids and hydrogen. The management have to find a way around their stated position, they are a Japanese and they don’t want to lose face. Hybrids will most probably won’t last more that 10 to 15 yrs if that, just can’t see the point of building a vehicle with 2 motors plus the electric motor and the battery has a stated 30miles, well we all know in the real world of driving from then stated 30 miles it’s a lot less than this stated amount. Toyota are trying very hard to gain kudos with people in their advertising tell people that their car is electric when in fact it’s primary engine is a petrol engine the electric motor s secondary. This approach through this form of stretching the truth is making them a laughing stock. I had a Toyota Yaris for 12 yrs and I tried the Yaris hybrid and in comparison to my old Yaris it was gutless and I really didn’t like it. I tried a Nissan Leaf 30kWh and wouldn’t change it at all.
Depends upon your perspective I think. Minimalistic designs often come across as cheap looking. I went to look at a Model 3. I was seriously thinking about getting in to one, and was very disappointed. The interior just looked like a cheap econobox jap make. I think many non techie types think the large flat screen looks expensive. It does not to me. Just like a large flat screen out of proportion to the interior dash. The seats and side door trims on the car just looked plain for design purposes. Some would designate them looking cheaply. Lets’ see. No burled wood. Little or no contrast on the textures or plastic parts, very utilitarian but not very much contrast for visual delineation. Beauty as always is in the eyes of the beholder. As the cheapest model 3 priced to me was about 47,000, I could not see that in the esthetics of the interior which was very plain Jane. Sort of reminded me of a Toyota Yaris on the inside. Functional but not jazzy at all. I kept wondering where they spent that much money on the design. I guess it’s all in the battery and drivetrain. Definitely not in the interior. I went looking to see what the 37, 500 dollar version 3 looked like. It was the same as the 47,000 one they showed me they can actually deliver. It does not come across as comparable interior to any American, Japanese, European interior I have been in ever of equal price point. But for many owners who seem to be overly enamored of electric cars and their high price points (Tesla) , I think they have to justify in their minds the lack of design in the interior. They call that minimalistic to evade the obvious. I have been in Volts, Bolts, Leafs, all hybrids, and practically every new car made. All seem to have better designs in the interior. A very large touchscreen is not a design. It’s a function only of controlling elaborate software. It appears that Tesla is telling you it’s not about the design of the interior, it’s about setting different expectations for the future of auto transportation.
It always depends on what tools you got, how good are you at fixing cars, do you have funds to repair the car, You can be good at Mercedes-Benz but who knows. The newer the car, the more complex it gets. But in my opinion, fixing a European car is so hard and expensive, why, what tools you got? Just basic hand tools? That would never work because European cars especially German cars are extremely over engineered, there are parts or features that overly expensive or just plain nonsense, and there’s a lot of electronics, even the climate control is on a touch screen monitor, From Rockauto, 2014 Mercedes-Benz S550, struts alone are really expensive, they are computer controlled, how much air can put it, the computer works for you. And one trend from BMW, they are removing dipsticks, for real, they want you to check the fluid level in the computer on you dash, the only problem is that i can’t trust the engineers since most of them break easily. Japanese cars are also getting hard to fix but it can give you the satisfaction, not the comfort or luxury like the Benz, but the reliability it gives. Most of Japanese cars don’t have complex circuitry than those German cars, nor expensive parts and labor. I admit I have a Toyota Yaris, some parts are pain in the ass like drum brakes, but some other are really easy like the engine bay, the engine bay is so spacious, you can do anything you want to do, replace thermostat, replace coolant, replace battery.
