รีวิว Q&A t1 volvo

On which Delhi Airport terminal will I get Volvo/PUNBUS buses to Punjab? Is it terminal 1C/D or Terminal 3?

You can book Volvo at Indo-Canadian website which are available at terminal 3. I have not seen any PUNBUS on T1 or T3. Probably you will have to travel to Kashmiri gate to catch a PUNBUS.

How do I enter Terminal 2 in Kolkata Airport?

There is only one functional terminal in Kolkata Airport, that is Terminal 2 (T2). Terminal 1 (T1) is now closed for passengers. Only the Volvo bus terminus still remains close to T1. From there you can simply walk to T2. Actually they are onle continuous building, with T1 being the left part and T2 being the right part. Just walk towards the cabs and crowd, and you are infront of T2. Happy travellin!

Where can I find the bus timings of KSRTC(Kerala)? What is that number on the side of the buses?

You can look up schedules here. Bus search KSRTC :: Home Kerala State Road Transport Corporation., You can also download the App from ,KSRTC BUS TIMINGS POWERED BY TEAM KSRTCBLOG ,(A private site operated by fans) Now for the second part of the question. I presume what you mentioned was these numbers. Those are bonnet numbers. These are given to every bus. The above ,RSC675, is a super deluxe air bus (Ashok Leyland) bus of Thiruvalla depot with registration no. KL 15 A 144. Wondering how I got the details? From ,here, ,. Didn’t understand? Ok. No problem. A lil bit of background information is needed to make this out. Let’s start with the history, shall we? Well, it all started during 1970’s. The buses were given codes using the letters T, R, A, N, S and P. Yes. You guessed it right. The letters were taken from the word ‘TRANSPORT’. Putting aside the last three letters, every other letters (read series) contain 1000 buses. Every 1,000th bus of each series is numbered with the multiples of thousand without the letter. This indicated the number of buses introduced by KSRTC till date. Eg., ,T1, T2, T3,…..T998, T999, 1000., That is where the T series ended. In the next R series, ,R1, R2, R3….. R998, R999, 2000. T, series : 1970 R, series : 1976 A, series : 1980 N, series : 1984 S, series : 1987 P, series : 1989 Later, a combination of two letters was started when the P series ended. TR, series : 1990 TA, series : 1993 TN, series : 1995 TS, series : 1997 TP, series : 1999 Along with this series, during the period 1994 - 1999, 144 more were added to the fleet of KSRTC from their own Edappal Regional Workshop and body building unit with a special code ,TE,. Apart from these there is a ,D, series given for the depot vans of KSRTC, and there are few tanker lorries for KSRTC with a special series ,TT,. The corporation had TT1 to 10, when they were having the Tractor Trailers (Tractor by Ashok Leyland and Trailers by Hyderabad Allwayn). KSRTC also has a couple of Ambulances with a special series ,AV,. R, series came next. It started with ,RT, in 2004 and having 1,000 buses in that series. Later, in 2006, ,RR, series were introduced. In that RR1 to RR54 were outsourced. By then, KSRTC had started building body in their own Central and Regional Workshops. KSRTC has one Central workshop, situated at Pappanamcode in Trivandrum and four regional workshops in Mavelikara, Aluva, Edappal and Kozhikode. Later KSRTC started adding an additional letter to the series of buses viz., C, M, A, E, and K. These denoted the name of the workshop where the body was built. The corporation purchases chassis from Ashley, Tata, and Eichu (,Ashley and Eichu are nicknames given to Ashok Leyland and Eicher. Ashok Leyland is also called Unddakkannan and Ashokan, :P :D ). The chassis are then sent to the workshops for bodybuilding. When the 55th bus of RR series was built in Kozhikode, they added the workshop code to it. Then it became ,RRK55. ,Then onward Buses were built in these workshops adding their respective codes to each series. The 1000th bus of RR series was numbered ,14000. The codes given for the workshop are. The Central Workshop at Pappanamcode has a capacity to build 70 buses per month. All other regional workshop has a capacity of 10. RA, series started rolling out in 2008. RA 100, RA 101 and RA 102 are our Volvo single axle buses which were running from Trivandrum to Bangalore. RN 765 ,and, RN 766, are the present Double Decker buses. RN 777, is the only Vestibule bus of KSRTC. 16000, of Kalpatta depot built at RW Kozhikode came after RNK999. Buses introduced under the JnNURM scheme is coded ,JN, ,JNT, for buses in Trivandrum and, JNK, for buses in Ernakulam. Volvo Multi Axle Buses are given the serial numbers with ,RS,. Scania multi Axle Buses are given serial numbers with ,RP, and ,(RL bought on lease),. RP ,series came out in 2014 and ended with ,18000 ,which was, ,built at Central Works, Trivandrum and allotted to Kalpatta depot which became controversial. AT, ,which is the latest, ,series, came out in 2017. ,AT311 to AT367, were built by Kondody bus body builders, Kottayam, ,. These buses don’t have workshop codes. The reason is obvious. You can also use the travelling ticket to find the bus number later on (In case you have lost or forgotten something in the bus. The body numbers are printed on top of the ticket). Hope this helps. Thank you.

What is the best way to reach the T1 of Trivandrum International Airport from KSRTC‘s Thampanoor Bus Station other than an auto-rickshaw?

T1 is the domestic terminal. You'll get buses to Shanghumugham or Vallakadavu from the city bus station (04712461013) of Thiruvananthapuram, which is situated at East Fort. It's minimum distance by auto from Shanghumugham and Vallakkadavu. If you don't have much luggage. You can even walk to the domestic terminal. There could also be direct A/C Volvo low floor buses. Call KSRTC Thampanoor station for timings. 04712323886.

Which car/ car brand lasts the longest?

Every driver wants an extra mile from their roadster. I also want my road companion to carry me past 200K miles. But sometimes, our wish remains in wish. This is mainly because we fail to choose the most reliable brand in maximum cases. Lack of awareness perhaps the biggest reason behind our wrong call. ,Toyota Sequoia, Ford Expedition, Chevrolet Suburban, Toyota 4Runnen, GMC Yukon, Honda Odyssey- ,are some of the long-lasting speed machines,. Volvo, Acura MDX, T1 Cadillac Escalade- ,are always found in the list of the most reliable convertibles,. Don't be sad, if you have already made a speculation in a different brand. Better you do the ,recommended maintenance commotions, timely to allow your intermediary to go the extra mile.

Which BMWs and Mercedes models were extremely reliable?

Here is a real time analysis of the cost to maintain any cars as per all manufacturer. Honda is #1…. but Mercedes is #1 for German cars. This is the bible on the dependability of every manufacturer over 5 or 10 years depending in your extended warranty service contract . Companies that issue those extended warranty service ae the ones paying the bills. They have the data on the results per car manufacturer. I ,perform Quality Control ( QC ) and audit on cars being serviced with defects, All manufacturers with a new model are loaded with issues. some are small and some are major as Mercedes had in 2004 -2008 with the New 350- 3,5 liters V6. Some problems are so small but the outome may be removing and dismantling the engine to repair the bad plastic guide for the timing chain or malfunctioning camshaft adjustment solenoid on the Mercedes V6-350. Have you ever cried at the airport?

I cried at the airport because of the extreme tiredness, exhaustion, lack of proper sleep and the unhelpful and mean nature of all the people and authorities, from whom I had solicited help during the past few hours. Detailed incident: I took an overnight Haryana Roadways Volvo bus from Chandigarh and deboarded it at a point near to New Delhi’s IGI Airport around 5.30 am. From there I had to take a shuttle bus to Terminal 3 and then further to Terminal 1. I was half asleep. Since I was among the last few passengers who were deboarding at the airport, only 3–4 luggages were left in the underneath compartment of the bus. The shuttle ahead was about to leave and I could not wait for another 15 minutes so I hurriedly got out, took my luggage, which was lying in the front of the compartment and got into the shuttle quickly. During all this, I felt that something was amiss but beacuse of my tiredness (lack of asleep during my overnight journey) and heavy rush in the shuttle I did not care much. I reached T3 and was waiting for the bus ahead for T1 which was scheduled at about 20 minutes later. I saw the luggage and felt something weird about it. ,I checked it only to realize that I had picked the wrong bag., It’s company, color and everything else was exactly the same as mine’s. The size was small and one side of the bag also had the ,bus, ,seat number of the owner, ,(,43), written on it in very small letters, but I was too late to realize that. I went into the state of distress because my luggage had a couple of important documents, majority of my clothes and because I was coming from my home, so it also had a lot other items which my mom had packed for me. I cursed myself for not paying attention in the shuttle. I was numb at that time, thought of calling my parents, but realized it was not a good idea to disturb them at 6 in the morning and also they couldn’t do much. 6:00 am ,- I calmed myself and that very instant checked the bag thoroughly to see if I can get any contact details of the bag owner. But I found nothing other than the clothes. Immediately after that I googled Haryana Roadways helpline number, noted 2 or 3 of them and started calling with the hope that someone would pick one of those numbers. After continuously calling for about 10 minutes, I was able to talk to one of the representatives, informed him of my situation asked for the bus conductor’s mobile number. He asked me to call back after 5 minutes so that he could arrange it. 6:15 am, - I called again only to find that he himself was confused about which bus was it and who was the conductor. Wasted some more time talking over the phone and then he gave me some other number to call. I controlled my anger and dialled the other one. Again the same process, the person asked me to call back after few minutes. Fortunately, I still had 2–2.5 hours left for my flight. I thought that because I was among the last few passengers left in the bus and there was one more deboarding point after the airport, probably my luggage could still be there in the bus. ,Once I get the conductor’s mobile number, I will ask him to wait for me at some point. I decided to take a cab and follow the bus,. I asked one of the cab drivers at the Airport parking and he fu**ing asked Rs. 1500 just for covering 8–10 kms. The situation was urgent, I could not wait for an Ola or Uber which would have hardly taken Rs 300. I agreed to give Rs. 1500 hoping that I would definitely get my luggage. 6:30 am,-, Meanwhile I continued calling at the helpline number. Just covered 3–4 kms from the Airport and luckily got the bus conductor’s number. But to my disappointment, the conductor informed me that there was no luggage left in the bus and all the passengers had deboarded it at the airport itself. But I still had some hope as I knew the bag owner’s seat number and the conductor could help me with his/her contact details. But everything was finished when the conductor told me that because the bag owner had done on the spot booking so there were no details. ,( I had done the online booking.), All he could tell me is that they were 2 people together on seat number 43 and 44 , they deboarded at the airport and were also heading for T1. So now I decided to go back to the Airport and see if I could do something there. 6:50 am, - Reached at the airport. The Terminal 1 was hell crowded as if the entire city of New Delhi had arrived there that morning. I thought if the airport authorities could help me by making some kind of announcement hoping that the moron who till now hadn’t realized about the luggage, could hear it. Asked the cab driver if he could introduce me to any such person. Along with him, I went to one of the security guards at the entry gate, informed him about my saga and asked him for the further action. He advised me to go inside and contact XYZ person there. Now I paid the cab driver all the cash I had in my wallet which was Rs. 800. I thought that he might agree to the price since we covered only half way. But he refused bluntly and asked for the remaining amount. I went inside, withdrew money from the ATM, came out and paid him. 7:05 am,- I contacted the XYZ person. He told that he could not do much and told me to ask the airlines. The airlines people were too busy because of the rush. I somehow managed to contact one representative, who further took me the the security personnel sitting inside the airport. I had to again and again inform everyone of my story and was getting hell irritated now. I told them making an announcement could possibly be the best way out. The police checked the bag thoroughly and then had a word with the airline representative. Both were asking one another as to who would help and in what way. But I wasn’t getting any response from either one of them. The airline guy went away asking me to wait there. I waited for about 15 minutes and was requesting them to help in whatever way was possible. Nothing happened. 10 more minutes gone. I was so much depressed that I had no mood to take my flight to Bangalore. But then I could not stand there and could not bear those people who weren’t doing anything for my help. 7:30 am,- I was still positive that I might get to see that person at the airport. So I checked in my backpack, despite the fact that it had my laptop. I hoped that if I see that person I would return him the bag and get mine’s. I searched the entire airport and all the while my eyes were looking for the Red Color American Tourister bag. Alas, no help. 7:50 am,- I reached the boarding gate and called the bus conductor again. I asked if he had got any inquiry pertaining to the bag. Alas! no one had called. At that point of time, a tear rolled down my cheek because of all the things that happened to me in the last 1.5 hours and how every step of mine turned out to be futile, how all the things I hoped for turned out to be completely opposite. P.S: I got my bag 2 days after I reached Bangalore.

Founded in 1868 by Jamsetji Tata, the company gained international recognition after purchasing several global companies. It is one of the biggest and oldest industrial groups in India. In 1954, it entered the commercial vehicle market after forming a joint venture with Daimler-Benz. In 1968, Tata Consultancy Services was founded.,“ - source: ,Tata Group - Wikipedia But in addition to that, here are the following net sales/revenues in which the ,Tata Group,, ,Subaru,, and ,Mazda, possesses: Tata Group: 106 billion US dollars. Subaru: ? Mazda: ? Since there are no net sales results traced for both ,Subaru, and ,Mazda,, which means since the Tata Group - the parent company of ,Tata Motors, - is deeply richer, therefore the Tata Group would be the one who could purchase the stakes Toyota owns in both Subaru and Mazda. As also pointed by the fact both Mazda and Subaru are no big, hence small-scale, manufacturers. But also, wishing Tata to acquire Subaru and Mazda [from Toyota] would reflect Tata’s history of attempting to form a deal with ,China’s Chery, - which was canned due to Covid-19 and diplomatic tensions between India/New Delhi and China/Beijing - last year. Which means, benefiting Tata from access to Mazda’s and Subaru’s parts bin would help Tata make cars with the power of their [Subaru’s and Mazda’s] technologies. That means, if Toyota would abandon the stakes they own in Subaru and Mazda to the Tata conglomerate, then in the end, ,Tata Motors, would gain benefit from the priorities, hence engineering/technologies, which both Subaru and Mazda possesses such as: Subaru: Their four-wheel drive technology, their automatic transmissions hence continuously variable transmissions aka CVTs - as Subaru was one of the earliest Asian car companies to introduce and install a CVT in a passenger car -, and as well as their safety technology. Mazda: ,Running gears, from their cars - which are neither on sale in India - such as the ,Mazda2,, ,[Mazda] CX-3,, and ,[Mazda] CX-30, crossovers, their “,SkyActiv,” transmissions - mainly in automatic -, their petrol engines - as India is still yet deeply reluctant to electrify their cars and filling stations -, their safety technology - which was derived from Volvo and as well as ,Jaguar Land Rover, due to both companies being part of Ford in the past -, and even [like Subaru] their expertise in making cars which neither fit Indian roads. See: ,China vs. India: The Battle for Electrification World Domination | F&L Asia - fuelsandlubes.com Furthermore, if Tata would purchase Subaru and Mazda from Toyota’s orbit, then Tata would also sell the stakes they own in JLR to either Croatia’s ,Rimac Automobili, or Finland’s ,Valmet, companies. Especially, expecting Tata to lose access from sharing running gears from JLR’s cars means, as I have said that, Tata too would gain benefit from Mazda’s running gears which are also powered occassionally with Subaru’s 4WD drivetrain tech… That means, expecting Tata Motors to build an in-house car with the combination of Mazda’s petrol engines, Subaru’s automatic transmissions - which were stemmed from Nissan’s help due to the fact Nissan owed a chunk of shares in Subaru from 1968 to 1999 -, and as well as Tata’s steel and safety tech from JLR would make Tata Motors and their cars great again… Until Tata would also sell off both Subaru and Mazda to Nissan, unless if they [Nissan] are already merged and sharing parts with Hyundai, which is why thinking of Toyota to sell their stakes in Subaru and Mazda to Tata in the moment is a way to prevent Nissan through fuelling their feud with Toyota… - ,Genda Nicolai Yturzaeta Iwakawa/awakawI ateazrutY ialociN adneG,, to be continued… See also: Nissan CEO, executives just got blasted by angry stakeholders - Auto News - autoindustriya.com
