According to me, Both looks good. But the 350CC variant is going to cost much . At least in Chennai, I could see the Ex-Showroom price starting from 1.8 Lakhs INR. Also the bikes are good. But how about the service centers ? At least in Chennai, I have seen lots of people getting frustrated with the service centers by paying High cost with low workman ship. Think twice before taking a decision. Product and its customer support in service must be good. But I could see that, the product is good. But has no words to comment on the other.
Don’t use Honda oil, while it may be good but there aren’t many reviews for that oil. If synthetic vs semi-synthetic is your concern then I’d suggest MOTUL 7100 10w-30 in place of Honda. If your bike is new then please don’t use fully synthetic or semi-synthetic oils. These oils reduce friction to a higher degree compared to the mineral oils and hence your bike’s normal run-in would get affected. However, if you have already above 1000km then MOTUL 5100 is a good choice. If you are past 5000km then go for the 7100. It’ll last really long and provide good results.
Wait, what did I just read!!!! The CBR250R, having vibrations??? That too like the RS200?? Unless the CBR hass been banged up real bad and has been in a bad crash, I hardly think it would be happening. The Honda is one among the big 4s. They are known for their refinement and reliability. Swift Dzire ZDI(Diesel) Now before you question why, here is why It is a Maruti product- Value for money. Good mileage. In city conditions you can expect above 16 KMPL. On highways it can go past 20-21 KPML. It can accomodat 5 people with decent comfort. Mind you driver is included in the five people mentioned. It isn't feature rich but won't leave you wanting for more. It has the necessary features. The ABS and the Airbags would give you a sense of safety. It is a compact sedan, so you can drive around in small roads without much fuss and because it has a decent boot, you weekend needs can also be taken care of. The parts, maintenance and service is very economical compared to its rivals. And you get service centers in every nook and cranny in India. It isn't a looker, I would give you that but it isn't as ugly as the first gen Swift Dzire. The engine is a proven one, with very good driving dynamics, returning good mileage. Very good resale value. (If you intended to sell it few years down the line). No or very less turbo lag for a diesel engine. It has got reasonable comfort levels. And the suspension is pretty good. That was the second generation City during 2011 and it was a good car to own during that time. The current model is 4th gen and hence the price you are going to pay would be of higher side. A 6 year old 2nd gen Honda city would cost around 1.5 lacs to 2 lacs depends on the condition of the vehicle..
I don’t think so compared to Hiness. If you are young and very fit, you may be finding it easy to do long rides on any bike but if you are a normal man with average physique and need a comfortable ride, do choose a bike which has a relaxed riding posture at least the knee is not bent when you are seated else after a few kms you will feel uncomfortable even if it is a 200–300 journey.
