Why doesn't Ratan Tata or Maruti build cars for PM Modi and the President? Why do they use BMW cars?

The VVIPs require top level safety cover and the security agencies select only the best vehicles which can keep them safe in extreme conditions. Earlier only the German brands like BMW and Merc were able to produce such vehicles and thus used widely around the globe by other countries as well. However now, the ,SPG,(Special Protection Group) has selected the special order ,Range Rover Sentinels ,for the current ,PM of India ,and other VVIPs,. ,These are amongst the most established, advanced, latest and safe vehicles around the world and compete with other known German brands. It gives me immense pride that its manufacturer the ,Jaguar Land Rover group, is now owned, by, pride of India, the ,Tata Group ,and such advanced tech is now at our disposal. The ,exact specifications, of this state of the art and highly secure vehicle ordered by the Indian Government is ,classified, and is build by Land Rover's SVO divison(Special Vehicle Operations). But here's some info from Range Rover's website: 380hp, 5.0-litre, supercharged V8 100kph in 10.4sec and a 193kph governed top speed VR8 level certification confirms impressive ballistic and blast resistance Specially developed six-piece armoured passenger cell, made of super-high-strength steel, providing world-class protection Multi-laminated armour privacy glass of optical quality delivering excellent bullet protection Can easily protect against semi/fully automatic weapons and even grenades/IEDs Land Rover’s proven 4-Wheel Drive All Terrain system ensures optimum performance on the worst of surfaces and any weather condition Advanced All wheel Air suspension can alter the ground clearance instantly, it can be lowered for high speed stability and can be increased for tackling off road conditions simultaneously Reported to have an Airtight passenger compartment with dedicated onboard Oxygen reserve to tackle biological weapons Other than this Range Rover, the SPG has also been seen using special armored ,Tata Safari,, ,Mahindra Scorpio, and Toyota Fortuner, all Made in India. Non armored Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is also used extensively by Union ministers and Top level officials for regular commutes not requiring high safety levels. Kind Request: ,The sole purpose of this answer is to merely ,state facts, in response to the question , which in my sense asks if Indian companies are providing armored cars for VIP security. This answer is not supposed to be political. So, I ,request users to, please ,use decent language, while commenting and ,don’t demean anyone., Keep in mind that nobody can know 100%, that is why this platform exists, to share knowledge, not to showcase our superiority over others by using words like ‘duffer, idiotic, utter nonsense etc.’ By doing so, you are showing your own standard and not that of others. Mr. Ratan Tata is amongst the most respected industrialist this country has ever seen. And the same ,respect should be accorded to all, engineers and workers who play an important part in the manufacturing and design of automobiles. The success of any company depends not only on its workers, but also the decision making power and foresight of the owners, board members and administration. Similarly, the ,post of PM, is a constitutional post, and no matter which person holds it, he/she represents the whole nation and must be given, utmost regard, on any digital platform.

To Japanese Quorans, how did you find out about Quora? And what motivated you to start posting?

I first discovered Quora after binge-watching The Man in the High Castle on Amazon. I was rather upset at the quality of the dialogue in Japanese and, fresh from kimono lessons, was also disappointed in the way some of the actors were wearing their kimonos. So I went online to see if there were any other English speakers who had similar complaints. Instead, I found these questions: Are the German and Japanese dialogues and accents in The Man in the High Castle natural-sounding? What do Japanese think of "Man in the High Castle" Amazon series? Yay! A place where I can rant! In English!! And then… Wait, ,Marie Kondo,, the queen of tidying-up, is doing a live session? Barack Obama, is using his Quora account to promote understanding of his policies?! (This place is much more serious than I thought.) And once I had signed up, Quora kept on suggesting interesting questions that my fingers itched to write answers to. I’d forgotten how much I loved to write. It took me awhile, but when I first got over 100 upvotes, I was hooked. The rest is history.

Is a Harley Davidson motorcycle more reliable than a Honda motorcycle?

The short answer: absolutely not. Long answer: ABSOLUTELY NOT, but here’s some explanation why. I’ve owned several motorcycles, and many more cars. Harley-Davidson in the motorcycle industry is akin to American vs. Japanese cars in the US. AKA Harleys are junk, and Japanese bikes are superb. Honda did more for the motorcycle industry than they did for cars. Maybe even more than Toyota, or both combined! Honda started making motorcycles in 1949, and became the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer in 10 years - a title it has solidly kept ever since - 61 years now. Honda ,completely, ,transformed, motorcycles, in every way: big and small, weird and normal, fast and slow. AND Honda did it all while also changing the face of cars, 3-wheelers, 4-wheelers, off-road bikes, lawn mowers, generators, boat engines, and just about anything else with a motor. Oh, and not to mention that Honda was dominating in every market in the world. Meanwhile, Harley-Davidson made strictly motorcycles, and could barely keep up in America. It sort of reminds me of a meme about internet browsers. In this example, Honda would be Google Chrome, Firefox might be BMW Motorrad or possibly Kawasaki, and Harley-Davidson is the poor kid eating glue. Harley-Davidson, is quite literally the epitome of “YOU HAD. ONE. JOB.” Literally. One job: Build ONE model of motorcycle - the SAME style for decades. Meanwhile other brands offer standards, sport bikes, super sport bikes, off-road bikes, dual-sports, adventure bikes, oh and they still find time to dominate large displacement cruisers (Harley copycats) Harley has released other styles of bikes over the years, but mostly mild modifications of the “main” bike. They might release a small/larger version, slightly change the rake of the front wheel, or change the type of suspension, but Harley’s entire brand image is “the cruiser” so they don’t deviate too far. Use ancient parts - No need for ‘complex’ innovation or anything that might risk reliability! Harley has used their uneven-fire motor for decades. A rather simple 45deg V-twin motor. In comparison, other motorcycle manufacturers offer 5–10 significantly different engine designs at any one time: a single-cylinder, a v-twin, occasionally a triple, 4cyl motors are very common on bikes as well. BMW has used a flat/boxer motor for a while as well. Pretty unique on a bike. Sell American bikes to the AMERICAN market, where you are literally the ONLY domestic motorcycle manufacturer. the epitome of “home field advantage” Similar to how “the big 3” (Chevy, Ford, Chrysler) remain strong in the US despite being inferior products to imports. The big 3 brands usually fall short in foreign markets, with GM pulling out of Europe entirely and Ford following. And yet… what we get is a poor-handling, low-power, low-tech mess. But, hey, it sounds good. When looking at Harleys, it’s a combination of hilarity and mental discomfort at how bad they are. Their technology/designs lag the competition by decades. Despite using archaic designs, their reliability is non existent. Their engine power output is pathetic at best. Harley intentionally handicaps their engines for the sake of ‘the sound’ and cosmetic image. ,You’d think, with, like 80 years, to perfect the rather simple two-cylinder motorcycle engine, they would have gotten really good at it. , 3 years ago, I was at a Honda dealership looking at bikes. We were discussing how funny it is that Japanese bikes entered the cruiser segment and basically stole Harley’s entire niche market. Not interested in shit-talking another brand, the salesperson’s only comment was ,“Harley has a fantastic marketing team, that’s for sure…” And ,that, is the answer to the question you’re probably thinking - “okay…if they’re so bad, why are they still around? And so prolific at that?” Yeah! How is it that the Japanese bikes enter the scene with an immensely better product at 1/2 or 1/3 the price, but it’s still an uphill battle? In a word? ,Tradition. Yes, this is true. Not only is Harley-Davidson “still around” but they are an extremely well known brand. Their brand loyalty is beyond compare. It’s really because their marketing and brand image is so ridiculously strong. Think of how many mugs you’ve seen in stores with the fat Harley-Davidson logo? I can remember back to being a small child and seeing this mug in a department store. If I was a more ignorant motorcycle buyer, that experience might have influenced me to consider buying a Harley. Name recognition is huge. ,When is the last time you saw a “Honda motorcycles” mug in stores? Harleys have also been in several movies. The first that comes to my young mind is the 2007 ,Wild Hogs, movie. While I did not watch the film (because I was not experiencing a midlife crisis that that point in my life), it’s pretty obvious what’s going on there. ,MASSIVE product placement, for H-D… Snippet taken from Wikipedia’s article for Wild Hogs Harley Davidson is experiencing their inevitable slump because the information age is in full swing, and younger buyers can easily research how disgustingly bad H-D bikes are. Voila ,Wild Hogs, appears! ,How effective do you think it would have been if the Wild Hogs movie used Japanese cruiser-[style] bikes instead? What’s better for marketing: “Yeah, my hog is the Harley Sportster 1200” OR “I’m ridin’ a Suzuki Boulevard” huh? A suzuke what? Snippet taken from Wikipedia’ article for Harley-Davidson As you can clearly see, less younger people are getting sucked into H-D’s “Buy ‘Merican!” nonsense and choosing to spend their dollars on the much more reliable, well-designed products instead. Another aspect is H-D’s long lasting contract to ,supply motorcycles to law enforcement., As far as I know, American law enforcement has unanimously used Harley-Davidson motorcycles until very recently (BMWs are now winning the contracts). Again, this is the same thing as with the big 3 automakers. It’s gonna be a looooong time, if ever, before US governments give a large contract to foreign businesses, no matter how superior their products. Again, this should have given H-D abundant funds (and motivation) to perfect their product. Instead, they simply continued to rest on their laurels and lazily collect the easy money. ALSO the price of Harley-Davidson motorcycles is ,IN-FUCKING-SANE. ,As of right now, it seems they made their bikes sliiiightly more accessible, but it’s still unreal. Their cheapest bike for sale is listed at $7,600, while the selection quickly jumps to $17k, with a vast majority being in the mid-20s. H-D’s most expensive bikes are the “CVOs” which approach $50,000. By comparison, Honda has several entry-level bikes in the $4,000 range, with their most expensive cruiser being an outlier at $28,000. The majority of Honda’s bikes are between 7–12 thousand dollars. Very accessible to beginner motorcyclists. To give Harley-Davidson their credit: The bikes do sound good. I admit. This alone is a main reason they still sell well. And I can’t fault that. A bad car that sounds good will still be a hot seller. With driving/riding, the audio is an oddly powerful factor to the experience. Adding rewarding sound output to even the slowest of vehicles improves the feeling tenfold. Not only do Harleys sound good, but they are unmistakably Harley in their sound. This is sort of a self-feeding loop They are American - through and through. If you’re fixated on “supporting American business” at any cost, this is the way to go. Harley-Davidson does also have a LOT of culture to appreciate. Between the H-D story itself, dating back over 100 years, to their roles in pop culture (Elvis), the military, etc. I admit, this also creates a powerful emotional response in some people, which I can respect. Recently, it seems that Harley has “gotten the hint” and has tried to improve themselves. From looking at their website, it seems they are trying to strengthen some of their weak areas, specifically appealing to new (and younger) customers. I assume (and would certainly hope) that their quality of production has gotten up to par by now. Harley has multiple offerings to appeal to a large(r) market. Smaller bikes, multiple engine choices, large bikes, and even an all-electric offering, which I was thoroughly surprised to see. From my anecdotal experience, I feel that H-D has been more ‘involved’. One example is the local H-D dealership (and I think many others participate as well) offered state-approved motorcycle licensing programs. H-D has been involved in other events as well. To sum it up: it’s really weird. Harley-Davidson has been enabled by government contracts and a domestic monopoly to continue producing subpar products. This would not be allowed in pretty much any other industry on the planet. Completely unacceptable with automobiles due to increasingly strict EPA regulations and strong desire from customers for better results. H-D somehow sidesteps these pressures to improve. For some perspective, here is a web post from 2000. This author writes about the Harley conundrum far better than I have done here. And I wish I had found it before I started writing. Oh well. ,https://www.everything2.com/title/The+problem+with+Harley-Davidson+motorcycles

What cars do Indian pilots drive?

We Indians love to judge people on the basis of cars, don't we? No car=,Homeless chap, let him go to hell. Bike= ,A lower middle class guy. Suzuki, ,Swift=,Hmm just the previous family on 4 wheels. Nothing interesting here. HM Ambassador=,“,Beeping,” politician. I hope he gets “,laid,” by a cactus., Ouch! Mercedes=,Lots of black money here, lots of black…... Ferrari=,Rich brat here! Hope he stays away from my girlfriend. The truth, pilot don't care about cars. They already have an exciting life, they face amazing forces, that adrenaline gushing through their veins at speeds around 800km/h. The choice is your's 100,000 HP of a Boeing 747 or 100 HP of a Suzuki,. ,That's cute. (,Oh sorry we don't measure the plane's power in HP, but hope you love the comparision) It is really bad to judge a person or his salary from his car. I have a gut feeling the true intention of this question was to get an idea about a pilot's salary. An amazing car is just a clickbait for an income tax raid! Just because a person owns a great car or earns big, he doesn't deserve your hate. It is his hard earned reward, ,earned,. Now it is your choice, either waste your time showering hate or get to work and earn yourself some hate. 1),Sneha Sharma,, the best female Formula 4 racer of India and also an A320 pilot. She is always associated with fast cars yet she drives a Tata. Surprise not Audi! 2),Xagnik Adhikary ,a Senior First Officer, ATPL holder. His job comes with a big salary yet he drives a Renault Duster. Surprise not BMW! 3),Me,, I don't have a driving license yet. Strangely they let me fly a plane at 17,000 feet at speeds near 200km/h. Just 11 days and an hour left for my 18th birthday. Surprise Harley! With a helmet and off the public roads. Safety first!

Which is the best Car out of Maruthi Celerio and Tata Tiago?

So you are going to hear the answer from a tiago owner. Hope that helps. Here we go…… It's yesterday only that I took my tiago to an expressway with one of my friends who own a celerio. We had a race since the road was deserted. And needless to say, i overtook it within few seconds and won the challenge. A Thumbs Up(TU), if you don't mind. Tiago is the best car. Every aspect you talk of.. it excels. Engine is smooth. Yes vibrations are there at idling rpm. But it's not something you can't live with.(TU) Ride quality makes me speechless at this price.(TU) And the maximum fuel economy i got was 28+ kmpl when my car was running in 5th gear and at about 80–100 kmph obviously in highway with eco mode on.(TU) I know you won't believe this!! Acceleration is pretty good . Car is dead easy to drive. Cost of ownership is negligible.every point I just talked of deserve a Thumbs Up. Build is robust. done a dozen journeys of about 600 km on highways and all kinds of road conditions, no back pain nothing no overheating.. And what else….. yes service from tata is good too. I am happy with my tiago. I think i can easily use it for 15 years or more without an issue. Oh, forgot to tell you that mine is a tiago petrol xe variant. Naturally can't give you a personal feedback about the pre-installed music system in the tiago . But I have fit all possible accessories and yes, finally my car is looking gorgeous now. Another thing look every side of the car inside out, you will find the best in class fit and finish, and prevailingly, a neat job done by tata. Again, a dozen of thumbs up. So, why not choose a car with so much satisfaction and so many Thumbs Up. So you can see how proud i am to have a car like mine. And honestly, &, without a doubt would recommend it to anyone. See, every car is more potent in the rear world than what you think of it. So love it, care for it and have faith in it, it should serve you the exact way you should be paid back. Because, at the end remember every car is a machine, and it can do no further than just paying you back. Even that is enough, ain't it?? Well that was all I had to say and if you want to have a tiago, just go for it blindly. And how good celerio is?? I think that, a honest celerio owner could answer you better in this topic. For the rest, the spec sheets will do. Goodbye take care. If you like it, put a Thumbs Up for me too , i mean an upvote.!! Here's my tiago picture for you. well, now you should be knowing that it's an edited answer if you have read this answer earlier and I am back here with some more points to add up. Now that i have driven my friend's celerio for someday, i can put up my impressions about the car over here. Yes, celerio gets undoubtedly a peppy engine. And even in idling rpm the engine don't ever vibrates, one thing which the tiago does!! But start cruising in it, you will get a smooth peppy and relaxed drive, with a ride that s still nowhere comparable to the tiago's upmarket ride quality. But engine is refined, no doubt. Cross 100 kmph, and you feel the car become floaty, has a tendency to fly off and it is here you get annoying vibrations and hoarse engine noise. Nevertheless the engine never feels stressed out a bit, and is pumped with enough frugality. But tiago in this situation, behaves like a big car…. And it is just so plush, planted with zero floatiness in the 100–120 kmph region and above it. Yes, engine now sounds harsh and makes you feel that it's crying.. though it's not, not even a bit. If you have the guts, do try to push it harder, forget the engine noise, and there you see the real power of the revetron 1.2 , the real spirit of the tata in its power mode. And even on long drives and highways, my choice is tata tiago and even my friend tells the same story… so hope you understand. To add up, quality of materials, feel good factor everything in the tiago is a notch higher than the celerio. And tiago is , to me, a more fun to drive car. Because, driving dynamics means not just a peppy engine, ride quality, handling and yes response from the heart truly matters a lot. Regrets??? No, not even a bit. I love my tiago. If ever possible, do try to experience the tiago and celerio yourself and clear all you doubts. In the end, don't forget to upvote…

Is Tata's build quality better than the Maruti Suzuki?

I have a Maruti Baleno.. I love it .. but the build quality and paint thickness is poor… still I love the car.. my bro has Brezza even his car is relatively very thin built one compared with other SUVs. So yes.. build quality of Maruti was never it's forte. This also results in car wavering in windy conditions on the highway but it's 100% not dangerous. Control is there 100%… Still you could feel how lightly built your car is compared with VW,Tata, etc… but it also has it's advantages… pick up is good because of that… Handling is mostly good as well… I repeat I still love the car. But the build isn't that great.

What is the actual mileage of a Suzuki Gixxer? What are the pros and cons of owning one? Is it worth it?

This is coming after 25,000 Km in one year. I have used up 8 Services and all of them were great. I mostly ride on highways and and use the Gixxer to commute to work as well. The bike is the most planted and if you’re a guy who loves taking corners, this beast will take you through the corner smoothly. Corner braking is very efficient, regular breaking is efficient as well. For best results in breaking, change the rear break shoes every 10,000 Kms. I am a resident of Hyderabad and have rode the Gixxer to Kodaikanal, Cochin, Hampi, Bangalore and more. Highway riding on this is a breeze, However would have appreciated, if it had a lil more kerb weight as the wind on the highway pushes you away to one side of the road while riding. The mileage on highway for me is 30 as i ride at average of 100–120 kmph. Mileage in city is 40 as the average speed is between 60–90 kmph. Over all, this is one of the best bikes I’ve ridden. There is value for money and the service centres are also very efficient. Cheers!

Which is the best sedan car in India, Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Vento, Skoda Rapid, or Suzuki Ciaz?

The names of the cars you have mentioned are pretty damn solid in almost every aspect. But each one of them have their plus and minuses. But let me tell you something at the beginning, The Vento and the Rapid are exactly same cars except their badges. Also If you are looking for a mid size premium car you should also see the Honda City. So what I am going to do is tell you how these cars perform on different parameters. Let’s get started, Looks. Although this is very subjective there is no denying the fact that the Verna looks the most vibrant and young. It is really good looking. It has a strong street presence. The Vento is a car which will appeal to the guy who probably works in a MNC, goes to the office well dressed and likes everything in right amounts. He prefers coffee over chai. The Vento was launched a long time ago in India and it still manages to look good even after all these years with minor changes. The Rapid looks more or less the same. Then there is the Ciaz. This car looks very premium but is more of an old man’s car. I think it is like the HM Contessa. The Inside Experience. Now let me get it straight, if you want some proper back seat experience you better be off with the Japanese nibba. It has the best rear seat comfort out there, Massive legroom, rear sun blinds, all this makes you feel quite luxurious. But things are not quite as good at the front yes the materials used are good but there are hard plastics and the design does not feel as good as the Verna’s. Audio quality from the stereo is decent and the touchscreen interface is also smooth. Up next is the Verna. Verna has the best interior design here. It looks really appealing and the quality of the materials is top class. Rear seat wise tho it may not be as comfortable as the Ciaz but definitely is very good on long drives. The sunroof makes things quite airy. Audio quality is phenomenal as it gets one from the Arkamy’s and also gets a 3D surround effect . Punjabi songs sound quite lit in it. The touch screen is also quite nice. Next up the German twins, Vento and Rapid. Both have identical interiors. And they are properly built. They feel solid and built to last. Close the door and it makes the proper thud. Audio quality is quite nice and the infotainment is decent. The design could have been better tho. Driveability and Performance. Straight away here. If you are going for the top model diesel , The Verna is the one. 126 bhp and 260 nms is more than enough to make you smile. 0–100 kmph comes in 10 secs flat. The petrol mill is also quite punchy and makes 123 horses and 153 nms. It does 0–100 kmph in 10.5 secs. The Rapid and the Vento are also really good in terms of performance. If you are looking for the petrol go for the 1.2 which makes 103 horses and 175 nms. The brilliancy here is of the 7 speed DSG auto gearbox. 0–100 kmph in 11 secs flat. The Ciaz here is not that good in diese engines department. It has that 89 hp and 200 nms diesel engines. The 1.5 petrol is quite nice and does 0–100 in 11 secs flat. it makes 103 horses and 138 nms. But if you really want a petrol sedan go for the Honda city hands down. In terms of Handling , the vento is really up there at the top. It feels rock solid even at speeds of upto 185 kmph. Steering is good and it’s an ebjoyable car. Looks like the MNC nibba loves driving!! Ride is also quite nice. The new Korean nibba is also very good at handling in it’s new generation. Steering has a good response and feel to it.The weight of the car keeps it quite planted at high speeds. Also the ride is the best here. Really. The Ciaz has the perfect balance of two. The ride is really very nice but the handling is not all that fun loving. And although its planted, its not as confidence inspiring as the contenders. Effeciencies; Ciaz- petrol-21.5 and diesel 28.00 kmpl Verna - petrol 16 and 1.4- 24 kmpl and 1.6- 23 kmpl Vento- petrol- 15.8 kmpl and diesel-22.14 kmpl Safety. No doubt that the Verna and the Vento are the safest here. Vento being a VW is tank like and the Verna is right up there. The Verna offers 6 airbags in it’s top trim along with a host of other safety features. While all the other cars offer 2 airbags and ABS and EBD. The ciaz here is not that solidly built but its safe . Verdict . Pricing Suzuki Ciaz : 8.20 lacs-11.38 lacs Hyundai Verna; 8.09- 14.03 lacs VW Vento; 8.63- 14.32 lacs Skoda Rapid- 9–14.26 lacs. Suzuki Ciaz; A no nonsense premuim car which is not the best but makes a strong case for itself with bullet proof reliability and after sales service. Low maintenance. Hyundai Verna; Probably the champion here with excellent appeal, strong performance an premium feel. Low Maintenance. VW Vento and Skoda Rapide; A typical German car with a fuss free character. Strong in every area except let down by high maintenance. All these cars are really very good and offer high degrees of sophistication. It really boils down to one’s personal needs on which one to buy. Drive fast, Drive sensibly, Drive Safe. Hope it helps!!!

What is a stand that you took with a customer that you will never apologize for?

I took sides with the customer against my boss once, does that count? I was a service manager in a dealership that sold and serviced multiple types and brands of vehicles including Kubota tractors and John Deere lawn equipment. It was the worst job I ever loved! We also had Honda, Suzuki and other brands of motorcycles and ATV’s. Please don’t take this as a boast, I am very skilled in customer service. A local businessman purchased a new Kubota Tractor and seemed happy with it. Unfortunately, when he received a buyers survey from the manufacturer, he scored his purchase and the dealership poorly on all elements. Knowing my customer service acumen, the dealership owner asked me to contact the customer to see why he was angry. When I called him, The customer was cordial and quickly explained that the survey had nothing to do with the new Kubota. Seems sometime in the past, prior to my taking the service manager position, he had brought his John Deere mower to our shop for service. Shortly after he picked it up, it stopped running correctly and when he returned it for repair, my predecessor had charged him to repair a cross-threaded spark plug which our technician had installed. I offered to return his money for the repair, but he declined indicating it was not the money, it was the principal of the matter. Next I offered to service the mower for free since it was due for preventative maintenance. He accepted. I went myself that same day and picked up the mower, promising to return it completed the following day. He declined that offer, insisting he would come pick it up to make sure it met his approval. The customers mower was finished early the following morning. I called the customer who indicated he would come that afternoon when his day was over. Meanwhile, the dealership owner (Jim) overheard me tell the customer (Bill) that he owed nothing for the service, a $100 value. Jim came unglued. “Heck, we can’t give away free service, we’ll go broke”! He stormed away muttering something about taking the cost of the service out of my pay. Bill showed up at the time he promised with a trailer behind his truck, presumably to haul his mower home. I watched him start the mower, pointed to an area of grass he could cut to make sure it cut as desired. Bill made a few passes to his satisfaction, then parked his mower and thanked me. I offered to load his mower but he declined. He then went inside the showroom seemingly very satisfied with my resolution to his complaint. An hour later I was at my desk and Jim came in and stood beside my desk with an apologetic look on his face. He told me he was sorry for doubting me, and that he would never question my customer service decisions again. Bill had come inside to compliment me in handling his complaint to Jim, and he traded his small John Deere mower for an $18,000 Kubota zero-turn. A few weeks later, Jim called me to his office and showed me another customer service satisfaction survey he had just received. It was from Bill on his new mower, and it was stellar. In customer comments he included more praise for me and indicated if I ever got tired of motor sports that he had a place for me in his business.

Has anyone ever had a long road trip in India on a bike with a 100CC engine?

100 CC engines are suitable. in fact any bike is suitable for long drive, provided it is maintained properly. I use to drive upto 350 Kms from Delhi on my Suzuki Samurai, duringg 1996 & 2000. just because i love it. Please note, when TVS 50 moped was first invented, it has claimed Tirupati mountain during testing. So.. maintain it properly and enjoy.
