@ShareGamePlay @thegranturismo Shane Earley and Aston Martin 😁 my favourite manufacturer. This beautiful DB12 showed up at my work yesterday 😍 https://t.co/l58NjboRRI
As he learnt from his predecessor, he never jokes about his work… but perhaps he’ll crack a smile as it’s his birthday. Send your good wishes to John Cleese aka Q in DIE ANOTHER DAY (2002). https://t.co/CaK1FFPIrl
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. There are three ways they film a car crash. By CGI Saves a lot of dollars and minimizes the risk with giving the creative freedom of showing anything since the scenes are created digitally using computer graphics. However, the main disadvantage is that they sometimes look fake and you can catch that fact in an instance, thus they often result in much lesser excitement even if extreme stunts are displayed. A famous example of CGI car crash is the scene in ‘Furious 7’ with Lykan Hypersport jumping out of Dubai skyscraper. By practically destroying real expensive cars Actual expensive cars are wrecked, may cost a lot but gives the most realistic feelings. And to be frank, the cost is nothing compared to the overall production budget or the estimated return value of those movies. A famous example is the car crash scene in the Bond movie ‘Casino Royale' where three Aston Martin DB12 were crashed to film one single car crash scene which had cost over 1 Million USD in total. Replica Cars The most famous process. Here a car is crashed in reality, but that car is not an actually expensive car. Instead, an almost exactly same looking replica car is built and that car is crashed. This is not only the most famous method, but probably the best method cause it successfully manages to balance everything like realistic effect with much lesser cost. For example, all the exotic cars like Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, Bugatti Veron, Koenigsegg Aggera etc. you see in the movie ‘Need For Speed' are replica cars. Hope it answers your question.
I have loved cars ever since I was old enough to speak. For that reason, I have a long list. There are many nonluxury cars that I would like to have in my collection however the list below only contains my luxury car wishlist. 2013 Mustang GT 500 Dodge Challenger Demon Dodge Charger Hellcat Chevy Camaro ZL1 1970’s Dodge Challenger 1970’s Dodge Charger 1970’s Mustang GT 1970’s Camaro Ford F150 Raptor Ford 1st generation GT BMW M3, M4, M5, M6, and M8 BMW X5m and X6m Lamborghini Murcielago Lamborghini Aventador Lamborghini Urus Lamborghini Hurcan Ferrari 488 Pista Ferrari La Ferrari Ferrari 360 Ferrari Enzo Bentley Continental GT Bentley Bentayga Bugatti Veyron Super Sport Bugatti Chiron Toyota Land Cruiser Range Rover Mercedes G Wagon 6x6 Mercedes G Wagon 4x4 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Hyundai Genesis Sedan G70 Rolls Royce Ghost Rolls Royce Cullinan Toyota Supra Nissan GTR Lexus LFA Jaguar E-Type 1963 Chevrolet Corvette E60 BMW M5 Aston Martin DB12 Aston Martin Vulcan Vintage Jeep Ferrari Daytona
Depends on what you mean by ‘best’. For me, I prefer the sound of the 2019 Shelby GT350R with the flatplane Coyote V8. Wait, the ’66 GT350R at full tilt in a vintage race with open pipes is pretty sweet. I also like the sound of the ‘62 Cobra 289 with straight pipes and glasspacks. And the Parnelli Jones Baja Big Oly Bronco uncapped. And the Ferrari 308GTB V8 and the various Ferrari V12 cars from the 250GT to the 330P4. And the Aston Martin DB12. And the Viper. And the ’84 Porsche 911 turbo. And the Ford RS200 Evolution. And the ‘69 Ford GT40 with 5 liter Gurney Weslake engine. Oh, and the ’66 Ford GT40 with the single four barrel 427 engine. Wait, include the Dodge Challenger Hemi Hellcat. Might as well listen in rapture to the ’69 440 six pack Hemi Charger with factory glasspacks. And the GTX, Cuda, Super Bee Mopars. The 427 Corvette. A 427 Yenko Camaro. The SS 427 Chevelle. Once in your life you should stand next to a AA Fuel Dragster as it launches for a 4 second quarter mile. The ground vibrates through your shoes. Your nose tingles with the sweet smell of burned nitro. And the sound … MY GAWD! Man, I just love a motorhead symphony. I cannot just pick one performance engine. It would be like listening to the NY Philharmonic Symphony play a selction of the classic and pick out one violin, one cello and one flute and ask which is best. For me - ‘best noise’ includes ALL of your three choices and then some.
First and foremost important thing one must understand here is that companies like Ferrari, Lambo, McLaren, AstonMartin, Bugatti and other sports car brands don’t expect their cars to be sold in some huge count like in some thousands and all but the actual sales happen for them is only under Thousand by summing up all their models in their portfolio and if the design, speed, drivability, sportiness it has and if all these factors somehow convinced a customer who is rich and doesn’t care about buying a sports car from any of these brands for just that sporty characteristics of a car, then only sales will happen for them and if that happens with the other customers as well, then only the profits will be on their way towards that company. What happened with AstonMartin is that despite being the very sporty brand, the DB11 and DB12 Superleggera and other models not only quite expensive but does offer a lot of features, great driving experience and many others like this. Thing is companies are making their transition into electric and the sports car companies are falling a bit behind depite having the support or maybe backup from their owners and the fact is that the market analysis, design analysis, changes are not that evident which is like if you take a MercedesBenz or maybe BMW’s sportscars, the customers who are looking at them are able to distinguish the facts that this part of the car has changed, this front bumper looks new or this feature is very luxurious or the rear looks stunning or the exhaust sound is damn cool! and many other factors like this must be appealed to the customers and the bigger competition which is Ferrari, Lambo and all are struggling their way to appeal customers more but the major thing is that the emission norms, transition to electric, newer tech, newer experiences must be improved by the companies to get themselves sold so that they can get into profits. This is what I feel the factors which are accounting for the low sales but I can strongly say that there are more which I didn’t address here and if you have any pls be open to share them in the comment section below. Thankyou for reading this.😀
