What brands of cars are popular in your country? Are they more or less expensive than the unpopular ones?
I came from China, in my country it depends. SAIC GM Wuling HongGuang Mini EV - best selling EV in the WORLD. Cheaper? Yes. Also smaller, simpler, and cuter. SAIC GM Cadillac CT5 - Simply better then Mercedes or BMW of the same price. More powerful, better looking, and more stylish. At this point we can conclude GM really gets Chinese consumers. Lexus LM - which country’s car buyers have the most Lexus models to choose from? Japan, where all Lexus are built and exported. Wrong! China. Because Toyota built a Lexus version of their very popular Alphard Van for Chinese consumers. How much? 230k USD without dealer markup. Mercedes S-Klasse Maybach - longer LONGER LONGER (somewhere a Chinese billionaire yells) SAIC GM Buick GL8 - more reasonably priced version of Lexus LM, very popular second car or company since it’s introduction in 1997. Cheaper? Not really, but it’s worth the price if you need a comfy car for your parents and kids. SAIC VW / VW Santana (VW Passat B2) - First introduced in 1981 as VW Santana, assembly by SAIC workers with German imported parts. Price at that time? 250k CNY, more expensive then a 1980 Corvette C3. This particular model, known as Pu-sang, or base Santana, among Shanghainese, was improved and built until 2012, a shocking 31 years’ life span with no major changes. In 2010s you can get the same model with only 11k USD. Audi S4 - yes cheaper then any other performance sedan. Nothing else… not to flex but my friends drive Audi starting with R, S who? Is that RS6 for poor people? Actually I drive a glorified Tesla wannabe Camry with white interior and dark wheel so I don’t mind S4 or A4… ^ I mean look at this buddy, isn’t he cute ^ And yes, you can buy one of these brand new in 2012.

First of all, stop using the word “in the history of mankind”. Introduction of automobile is barely 2% of history of mankind. Also yes, as the answer told you. Here are a few reasons why. Multiple factories: Tesla is pretty much obsessed with lowering prices and making as much cars as possible, as no traditional car manufacturers other then Ford have done. Ford Model T also dominated US (and world) car sales despite having multiple way better (more customizable and more reliable) alternatives. One of the reasons is that people believe more popular cars are easier to maintain. Market (idk how to say this so this): Your common Model 3 buyer is not your common compact car buyers. Instead, people buy these cars as an alternative to luxury cars or sports cars that they already owned. Model 3 are quick and easy to drive. While wealthy car buyers/owners would always buy different cars for fun, it’s unlikely they would all buy the same model, and once they do, the sales of that said model can increase dramatically. Another example is the rising price of Toyota Alphard aka Lexus LM. However, Toyota met the increasing demand with higher price. Price/product discrimination: When I bought the French version of L’Amant in China in 2018 the book costed around $4, the same book on Amazon costs $19. My fully loaded 2021 ES350 (V6) costs $49,000 with dealer cash back, a 2020 ES200 my family used costs $70,000 in China. It’s the same thing with Teslas. Tealas in China are poorly made, and when people criticize it they hire “wu-mao” to attack these critics online. While in US Teslas are significantly more reliable. The earlier Model 3 and Model Y also had a lot of unacceptable quality issues, but people who bought them, mostly Tesla’s biggest fans, never ran out of excuses for their favorite car manufacturer. On the other hand, later buyer would find themselves having a much more reliable car and therefore would not complain. Also it’s cooler then a Prius if u really wanna go green. Who cares if my roof leaks water, my new car might randomly burn, my motors are squeezed to impress clueless tech fans with acceleration numbers, my car isn’t as environmentally friendly, I might pay more gas guzzler tax then a Charger Hellcat when I gets to Singapore… at least I don’t look like a Karen. Real G is this buddy tho, he don’t fuck around, naught to sixty: yes, range: to your nearest grocery store and back, annual sales: Tesla who? Oh and it has an optional drop top.
Which is the most legendary car ever?
23 years gone but, The McLaren F1 remains one of the fastest production cars ever made (,infact, it is still the fastest naturally aspirated car *like a boss*,). It is succeeded by very few cars, like Koenigsegg Agera R, Bugatti Veyron, SSC Ultimate Aero TT, Hennessey Venom GT and Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. However, all of the higher top speed machines use forced induction to reach their respective top speeds, whereas the McLaren F1 is ,naturally aspirated,. The McLaren F1 is considered one of the greatest supercars of all time. It's quirky, driver-focused and fast. With a ,top speed of 391.23 km/h (243 mph),, central driving position and complete ,carbon fiber reinforced plastic monocoque chassis (which was used for the first time ever in a car), structure set it apart from all other production road cars when it was released in 1992 and stills manages to stand tall in the crowd of almost cookie-cutter supercars today. (,yes, it's an absolute looker, just look at that thing ,*,10m, ,jaw drop,*) It's stunning ,BMW-sourced 6.1-liter 60-degree V12, featured an aluminum block and heads with an 86mm x 87mm bore/stroke, quad-overhead camshafts controlling four valves per-cylinder and a dry sump oil system. The bespoke engine was officially designated the BMW S70/2 and weighed in at 586 lbs while producing, 627 horsepower at 7400 rpm and 480 lb-ft of torque at 5600 rpm (,and not to forget the eargasmic soundtrack,),. This same engine was used to power the BMW V12 LMR prototypes from 1998 to 2000. ^^ A view that was quite familiar to other supercars back then, even today!! (if you know what I mean :-P ) The car in the picture above is actually the ,McLaren F1 LM, is a track oriented edition of the McLaren F1 and LM stands for Le Mans. What are some outrageously badass supercars that literally make you drool everytime you see them? If you could have only one, which supercar would you choose and why?
My supercar drool timeline is kinda short. I’m an analogue driver .I've never owned an automatic or a car newer than 1998 so a OBD2 man through and through. Gotta be manual - cable throttle and hydraulic steering when i buy a car to drive every day. But the world has moved on. And one day i will have to relent. The new, flappy paddle supercomputer era of Super cars just don’t grab me When i see a new Lambo or Mclaren at events i have a peek inside and around the car. Notice the nice little touches and go and find something that i can see the mechanicals. I do have rare exceptions though. The New Porsche 935. It’s badass for a 2019 car and even comes in my favorite Valiant Livery. Looks great in the Martini too. Not sure if it’ll be fully road legal, but i’m dreaming anyhow so who cares?! Looks great in the Martini too. Red Turbofan Wheels -OMG!!! I also like the Lexus LFA. I Know it doesn’t “POP” when you see it next to an italian thing but, the Engine is a masterpiece. V10’s Sound amazing and the Lexus is pure F1 car sound. And being a Lexus, it will never ever break down on you. If it does, A representative of Lexus will commit harakiri And disembowel himself. And that’s very reassuring I also have a soft spot for The Ferrari F12 TDF A handsome bastard of a car that is. The New Ford GT is amazing in the flesh, and seeing as it went out and Won Lemans, i don’t think you can top that with regards to pedigree That’s my Modern car drool list. As for what makes me go into a trance of awe, it’s the Ferrari F40 LM . There is nothing i dislike about it.
