What is the yearly maintenance cost of a Mercedes Benz ML350?
Most Mercedes-Benzs will require Two yearly services. The prices are dependent upon who services the vehicle. If you go to a dealership it is usually twice the cost of a normal mechanic. If you are in Western Australia and you take your car to 10 minute oil change in Victoria park the cost of a full service using Penrite premium lubricants and Ryco filters it is half the cost of a dealership . The Technicians at 10 minute oil change do amazing services that are very professional, thorough and reliable and most importantly are honest.
What is the meaning of Bluetech in the Mercedes Benz ML350?
BlueTEC is technology brought by Mercedes Benz into their lineup of diesel engines. This was in response to the ever tighter emissions regulations, particularly in Europe and the US. The first iteration was launched in 2007 to be able to run on the then newly introduced ultra low sulfur diesel. The first car to get this was the E320 BlueTEC. Subsequently, this technology has been upgraded in the form of BlueTEC AdBlue diesel injection engines to comply with the US BIN 5 emission regulations, as well as to be compliant with Europe's EU 6 parameters. I'm not sure about the rest of the world, but the UK at least is back pedalling on their commitment to diesel that has been prevalent over the past 20 years or so. This is mainly due to the health problems associated with particulate matter released from even the most modern of diesel engines using the best diesel fuel. Europe is switching back to smaller, turbocharged petrol engines, with a slow increase in electric engine production.

Simply stated, the drawback to the ML350 is that you can get a more capable vehicle like the Tahoe or Expedition for less money, a more reliable vehicle like the Toyota Highlander or Sequoia for less money, and a more all-around performer like the Jeep Grand Cherokee for less money. Like most luxury products, the ML350 is pricey...and that's a drawback unless you have unlimited (or nearly unlimited) funds. Finally, I close with my standard warning to luxury car buyers: If you're buying a luxury car because you feel compelled to project an image of success (or something like that), it's probably time to think about more than just your next vehicle purchase.

If you don't have an evident coolant leak, most likely you have a bad head gasket and/or warped head which is allowing a small amount of coolant into the combustion chamber and combustion gasses into the coolant passage. Sorry bout your luck

Did you say “typical German car with high maintenance costs”?? Well, if you have research to prove that German cars are ,typically, pricey to maintain, and you also know the subject ML350 to be a German car, then, by putting 2 and 2 together, YES - it will cost you a high amount to maintain. Honestly I have never understood why Mercedes drivers complain about high maintenance - you pay an almost 50% premium buying a piece of intense engineering, but you expect to spend the same on maintainance as your friend Mark who opted for a Ford Explorer? An expensive car is simply a sum of individually expensive parts - so if you ever need any of those parts replaced in future, expect to pay higher. When people buy $800k homes - they don't expect to spend the same on utilities, property taxes, insurance etc as their neighbours with $350k homes. Will it break down soon? Well - ALL cars break down, new ones and old ones - and all brands. The Internet is full of stories of people who have taken brand new vehicles and went back to the dealer 5 times in the first year. Because no 2 things are equal unless they are identical, and no Mercedes is identical to any other car make, I believe that any attempt at comparing rates of breakdown across brands is pure malarkey. Scientifically speaking, you would need to subject thousands of cars to the same road, weather, driving behaviour, and other conditions to derive conclusive reliability ranks. I therefore always scoff at the myth of German cars being unreliable. I have spent less than $200 on repairs on my 2010 ML350 in the last 2 years (exclude oil changes, which I do expensively at the Stealership for obvious reasons - getting the right job done by the right people and avoiding deeper problems ahead). I digress a lot, but my message here is: i) accept that your car is expensive and it's repairs (if any) will be expensive too. That is if you even believe it compares to other cars - otherwise I think it's ‘normal price’ for the type of product. ii) don't over try to save money - because you did not save money when you chose to buy a luxury SUV. Do your service at a decent knowledgeable shop, and don't take shortcuts. iii) If your car ever breaks down, its NOT because it was made in Germany. Its because of a particular reason and always remember there are hundreds of thousands of other Mercedes drivers out there who aren't having the issue. Fix it - like you fix your body when sick and move on. You will be surprised at how much fun you get from your 2012 Mercedes ML350.

There's a tradeoff - quick and painless at the dealer means you get a worse price. The more you ask on Craigslist or an ad, the longer it will be until it sells. A middle path might be to ask how much the dealer will give you, do a little research on used car prices in your area, and then list the car on Craigslist at a *low* price (but still higher than what the dealer will give you). Say "selling cheap because I want to sell quick" in the ad.
My 2012 Mercedes ML350's turn signals stop working after a while when driving. Restarting the engine gets them to work again. I cannot replicate the problem with the Mercedes Benz Dealer and they refuse to fix my turn signal: what could be the issue?
I think its more likely to be electrical problem you should get the circuit checked I think you'll be able to replicate it if you rev up your engine while stationary and hold it at high rpm for few mins
